Scope Note
The field of biology and its related technical disciplines has expanded to include topics as diverse as ecology, human engineering, biophysics, and genetics. With the mapping of the human genome, the evolution of “wetware,” and the turning to natural solutions to human problems (biomimicry), biological advances and research are expanding exponentially. This guide cannot be exhaustive, but will attempt to provide research terms, top resources, and current awareness methods for this evolving field.
