- World Intellectual Property Organization
- The WIPO is a United Nations agency. Via the WIPO, the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) has been crafted and supported by 116 member countries. The PCT provides, on the basis of a single “international” application in one language, for an international search which will be effective in any of the countries which are party to the treaty.
- Delphion Patent Service
- Delphion provides comprehensive searching and printing of U.S. and international patents, as well as other advanced features. Delphion requires a user name and password in addition to IP access requirements. Each user in the OLIN IP ranges can register him or herself for a user name and password.

- CRC ENGnetBASE: Engineering handbooks from CRC
are available full text in this database.
- Knovel
The Olin Library subscribes to this product. The full text of a wide range of engineering and technical handbooks is available here. In addition to a search engine, Knovel provides a subject breakdown and publisher area.

Scirus is a science specific search engine that allows you to chart and pinpoint data, locate university sites and find reports and articles quickly and easily. The advanced searching capability is an excellent path to scientists and companies in your field of interest.
